Virgin Trains trial the new self-service 360 degree feedback tool, “MyOwn360’ with the help of Bowland Solutions.

Following the success of their work with Virgin Retail, Bowland Solutions, in conjunction with a key partner, Peter Hyde Management Consulting, are piloting their new ‘self-service’ 360 degree feedback tool with Virgin Trains.

The myown360 tool is an online 360 degree feedback solution that enables users to invite feedback from anyone with an email address.

Based on a well researched and validated competency framework produced by partner Peter Hyde Management Consulting, users can choose which specific competencies and behaviours they want feedback on to create their own unique questionnaire.

They then simply enter details of who they want feedback from and send an invitation from within the system for them to log-in and complete the questionnaire. As soon as everyone has completed, the individual has a comprehensive report which is easy to interpret and act upon.

Virgin Trains support the process by ensuring individuals have a one-to-one debrief to help them interpret the report and create an individual development plan.
